The Congestion Charge
On 29th October 2025, Oxford introduced a temporary congestion charge to ease congestion while Botley Road remains closed. The charge is £5 per day across the designated zones of Oxford. The charge operates year-round, including bank holidays and will affect vehicles classified as M1 (cars and motorhomes).
Benefits for our members
Enterprise Car Club vehicles with dedicated bays within Oxford and Whitney are exempt from this charge. This allows our members to drive through the congestion zones without the additional cost.
However, you will need to cover the fee if you drive an Enterprise Car Club vehicle based outside of Whitney or Oxford into the congestion zone.
