Introducing the new Nissan Leaf

By Andrew | 23 August, 2019

At Enterprise Car Club, we have a clear focus on a sustainable future while providing our members with the latest vehicle models available. We are proud to announce that we've recently introduced the latest Nissan Leaf model in locations across the UK. It comes with a whole host of benefits and a few differences from previous models.

By far the biggest benefit of the new Nissan Leaf is the increased range of 230 miles, meaning you will no longer have anxiety of running out of charge! It’s perfect for whizzing around town or a long weekend away! The older version of the Nissan Leaf covers a range of 75 miles, perfect for the trip into town but not for a long drive far far away! The range is clearly displayed inside the car so do keep an eye on this.

Another amazing benefit to the Nissan Leaf is the e-Pedal feature. The e-Pedal allows the driver to start, accelerate, decelerate and stop using only the accelerator pedal. The E-Pedal is perfect for stop-and-go traffic driving where lots of stopping and starting is required. It makes driving much simpler as it reduces the need to shift from one pedal to the other. The e-Pedal is easily activated and deactivated by using a switch in the centre console. Lift off the pedal and the e-Pedal mimics stepping on the brake pedal, allowing the vehicle to slow down and even come to a complete stop.  Of course, your brake pedal is still there so you can brake on demand whenever needed. Check out this video for more information on the e-Pedal.

The LEAF is stealthy - with no petrol engine it can be deceivingly quiet so remember to check the instruments on the dashboard to see when it's running. The in-car instructions have plenty of information if you're unsure.

Just like with all our electric vehicles, once you have finished your journey, please plug the charging cable back into the car. Please be aware that the charge point may require some force to pull out the cable.
