How Our Pricing Works

Three costs make up what you’ll be charged when taking to the road with Enterprise Car Club.

  • Cars: 25p/mile
  • Vans: 30p/mile
  • EV Cars: 14p/mile
  • Under 22's: 65p/mile

Our Membership Plans

Membership for drivers Age 19-21

For those aged between 19-21 you can join for £10/month with a one-off £10 application fee. Join and you can access small and economy cars across the UK, picking it up from a street, train station, car park. Click here to select your location and join today.

Mileage Rates

 

There is a per-mile charge that is calculated based on how far you drive during your reservation. This is added to your rental charge and billed at the end of your trip. This mileage rate is determined by the vehicle size and the plan you are subscribed to.

Other Things to Consider

  • Fuel

    If you fill up during your rental we’ll cover the cost. Simply pay using the fuel card found within the vehicle's glove compartment, or to the right of the steering wheel. 

  • Third Party Liability, Damage Waiver/Excess Protection

    All our vehicles include: (i) coverage that meets or exceeds the minimum required third party liability insurance against death, personal injury and damage to property; and (ii) a damage waiver, which limits your liability in the event of damage or theft. Standard excess is £1,000 for cars and £1,250 for vans (before 1st March 2026) or £1,250 for cars and £1,500 for vans (after 1st March 2026) applies.

    If you are aged 22+ you can reduce your excess to £250 per incident by paying £15 per month (before 1st March 2026) or £25 per month (after 1st March 2026), £150 annually (before 1st March) or £250 annually (after 1st March 2026) when you join or by entering your member ID on this  form. Alternatively, you can reduce your excess for a specific reservation by paying an hourly fee of £2.00/hour (up to £16.00/day beofre 1st March 2026) or £2.25/hour (up to £18.00/day after 1st March 2026).

    The Excess Protection fee will be in addition to your monthly or annual membership fee. You can select this option at the time of making your reservation. 

  • Parking

    When parking outside the vehicle’s dedicated location, you are liable for any parking costs. Free parking is available in Edinburgh and Kensington & Chelsea in London – see the relevant location page for more information. 

  • Tolls & fines 

    You will have to cover the costs should you incur a parking ticket or traffic offence. These also may attract an administration fee.

How do I switch between plans?

 

If you wish to change your rate plan, simply click here or call the Clubhouse at  0345 266 9290. Upon contacting the Clubhouse, your rate plan will be changed immediately and any existing bookings will be corrected to honour your new plan. We therefore recommend for you to call the Clubhouse just before your membership renewal date if you are partway through an annual membership.

Member Eligibility

  • Applicants aged 19 years or over
  • Who have a valid driving licence (International Driving Licence Accepted)
  • Who have a valid major credit card or debit card in your name
  • As part of the application process we may verify the information you provided through credit agencies or other databases for the purpose of preventing fraud. An inquiry may appear on your credit report but it will not impact your credit score.

 

Key considerations

  • For each reservation you’ll be charged rental (based on a per hour or per day calculation) and mileage (based on how far you drove). An estimate for your rental will be displayed before you confirm your reservation. For more info on pricing click here.
  • If you are aged 22 or over you can reduce your standard excess from £1,000 for cars and £1,250 for vans (before 1st March 2026) or £1,250 for cars and £1,500 for vans (After 1st March 2026) to £250 per incident for £15/month (before 1st March 2026) or £25/month (after 1st March 2026) or £150 per year (before 1st March 2026) or £250 per year (after 1st March 2026).
  • You are liable for any parking, tolls and fines from any parking tickets or traffic offences. These also may attract an administration fee.
  
 
 
  • Pay a maximum of £30 if you cancel your reservation within 5hrs of your reservation.
  • Members are restricted to a 7 day maximum rental or £250 spend limit (excl. mileage) whichever is lesser. Further restrictions apply for those on the ‘Under 22’ plan.
  • Time (duration) of rental - calculated in 15 minute increments from the start to end of your reservation.
  • We ask all our members to adhere to our Car Club Code.

The day rate is an average based on the weekday rate. The rate for a specific vehicle will be quoted before you confirm your reservation during the booking process.
